Особливості українського перекладу англомовних виступів із проблем освіти ( на матеріалі TED talks)

Abstract

Мета: вивчення особливостей українського перекладу англомовних виступів із проблем освіти (на матеріалі Ted Talk лекцій). Теоретичне значення полягає у тому, що у роботі систематизовано теоретичний матеріал з вивчення особливостей популярно-наукового дискурсу, аналізу усного мовлення оратора, мовних засобів впливу на слухача, експресивних засобів мови у текстах публічних виступів. Окрім того, у дослідженні систематизовано знання про особливості перекладу лексико-семантичних та стилістичних, прагматичних особливостей виступів Ted Talk як зразку науково-популярного дискурсу. Були виконані наступні завдання: ⎯ уточнили поняття англомовного науково-популярного дискурсу; ⎯ розглянули виступи Ted Talk як зразок сучасного науково-популярного дискурсу; ⎯ здійснили аналіз композиційних особливостей організації англомовного дискурсу Ted Talk лекцій; ⎯ проаналізували лексико-семантичні та стилістичні особливості виступів Ted Talk; ⎯ розглянули стратегії й тактики англомовного науково-популярного дискурсу (на матеріалі Ted Talk лекцій); ⎯ з’ясували особливості відтворення прагматичного змісту при перекладі англомовних виступів Ted Talk. Перспективи подальших досліджень становить вивчення особливостей застосування прагматичних прийомів перекладу (форенізації та доместикації) як способу відтворення прагматичного потенціалу англомовних текстів Ted Talk виступів як зразку науково-популярного дискурсу

Goal: studying the peculiarities of the Ukrainian translation of English-language speeches on educational issues (on the material of Ted Talk lectures). Theoretical meaning is in the fact that the work systematizes theoretical material on the study of the features of popular scientific discourse, the analysis of the speaker's oral speech, linguistic means of influencing the listener, expressive means of speech in the texts of public speeches. In addition, the study systematizes knowledge about the peculiarities of translation of lexical-semantic and stylistic, pragmatic features of Ted Talk speeches as a sample of popular scientific discourse. The following tasks were performed: ⎯ clarified the concept of English-language popular scientific discourse; ⎯ considered Ted Talk performances as an example of modern popular scientific discourse; ⎯ carried out an analysis of the compositional features of the organization of the English discourse of Ted Talk lectures; ⎯ analyzed lexical-semantic and stylistic features of Ted Talk speeches; ⎯ considered the strategies and tactics of English-language popular science discourse (on the material of Ted Talk lectures); ⎯ found out the peculiarities of the reproduction of pragmatic content when translating English-language Ted Talk speeches. Prospects for further research are the study of the peculiarities of the application of pragmatic methods of translation (forenization and domestication) as a way of reproducing the pragmatic potential of English-language texts of Ted Talk speeches as a sample of popular scientific discourse
