Abstract Magnesium alloy WE43 is considered one of the most promising materials for biomedical implants due to its rare combination of low density, biocompatibility, favorable mechanical properties, and biodegradability [1]. However, its practical application remains limited by high corrosion rates in physiological environments. Therefore, the investigation of its corrosion resistance, especially in the context of modern manufacturing technologies, is of high relevance [2].
